Product detail

Due to its natural warmth, breathability, and moisture absorption properties, wool fabric is widely utilized by wholesale textile manufacturers in modern clothing design to develop garments with specific functions, such as outdoor sportswear and professional workwear. As a natural and sustainable material, wool fabric is increasingly favored by clothing brands that emphasize environmental sustainability, addressing modern consumers’ concerns about eco-friendliness and sustainable development. Wool fabric is also combined with modern art to create unique visual effects and artistic expressions, making garments not only wearable items but also carriers for conveying artistic and cultural concepts.

As a natural fiber, wool fabric is biodegradable and aligns with environmental protection principles. In clothing design, wool craftsmanship is often combined with cotton and linen fabrics to explore innovative applications and infuse new vitality into traditional felt-making techniques. With its ability to be woven into various textures and weights, white wool fabric is suitable for a wide range of applications, from light summer wear to heavy winter garments. Its timeless appeal and practicality make it a favorite choice for both casual and formal attire.

How to Judge the Quality and Purity of Wool Fabrics

  1. Feel: Pure wool fabrics have a smooth and delicate texture. They demonstrate good elasticity and can quickly return to their original shape after being gently pinched.
  2. Color Observation: The color of pure wool fabrics appears natural and soft, without a stale or artificial look. Pure wool fabrics generally have brighter and more vibrant colors compared to blended fabrics.
  3. Elasticity Test: Pinch the fabric with your hands and then release it. High-quality wool fabric will quickly return to its original shape with minimal wrinkling.
  4. Burning Method: Burning pure wool fibers produces an odor similar to burnt hair, with a certain natural aroma. The ashes after burning pure wool are powdery and can be easily crumbled with your fingers.
  5. Static Electricity Inspection: Rub the wool fabric with pure cotton cloth for about 5 minutes and then quickly separate them. If there is no “pop” sound indicating static electricity, it is likely to be pure wool. If there is an obvious static sound or even sparks, it may indicate the presence of synthetic fiber components.
  6. Touch: Wool fabric is softer and more elastic than other fabrics, and it resists wrinkling. Due to the tight arrangement of wool fibers and scales, garments made from wool tend to have a slightly thicker appearance.
  7. Clarity: High-quality wool thread features a clear texture and lacks messy fluff. High-quality wool fabric exhibits good luster and bright colors without dullness.
  8. Tensile Test: Gently stretch the wool thread. If it demonstrates moderate elasticity, is not prone to breaking, and the nap is slightly curled, it indicates good quality. High-quality wool thread is consistently thick.
