Rayon and Tencel fiber are both regenerated fibers which derived from natural cellulose sources, such as wood pulp. And they all processed through chemical treatments. While they share similarities, there are some key differences as below:

3. Texture and Comfort
- Rayon: Known for its soft and absorbs moisture well, silky texture and excellent drape, weakens and deforms easily when wet due to low wet strength. Often used for lightweight, soft garments.
- Tencel: Also soft, excellent moisture-wicking and breathability are stronger than Rayon. It’s ideal for summer wear or clothing close to the skin. Tencel fibers are less prone to pilling, and more durable.
4. Applications
- Rayon: Generally more affordable, making it a cost-effective option.Used in various garments such as dresses, shirts, lingerie, and home textiles.
- Tencel: Preferred in high-end clothing, sportswear, bedding, and baby products due to its eco-friendly properties and superior comfort.
